Has anyone got any good idea's for what music to play at a 16 - 17 year old school disco?Thanks,

Just added a playlist for a 16th party I done last week at http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/index.php?s=&...st&p=225293 if it is any help.
Chart stuff, R&B, plus try some 'faster' stuff such as Cascada, Scooter etc.
Take along your oldies - you may be surprised! I did a 16th last Saturday and Johnny Cash - Ring Of Fire was requested, as was Abba, Queen, Kenny Loggins - Footloose, along with the usual YMCA, Saturday Night, Grease Megamix.
To me this age group is what disco is all about - I see the same reactions from them to good modern material as I used to see years ago, which isn't surprising really as although the music played back then is regarded as old now, then it was 'modern' and the audience then was primarily teenagers, too.
