Hopefully this is in the right part of the site.
I am after some advice.......
I have at home approx 500 12"singles and 6-700 7" singles.
The question is ............ do I sell or keep ?
I know I will never use them again so one reason for selling BUT IF I keep them long enough they might be worth a few more bob in yrs to come.
I could use the money to upgrade my lights or sound system now or keep hold and hope a collector would be interested.
What do you think ?

Hang on to them - now is not a good time to sell.

Check Record Collector magazine and Ebay for prices.

If they are not rare you could always make some nice plastic flowerpots out of them!!!!

If they are not in absolute mint condition you may as well make the pots! There are collectors but they are fussy and no one will probably want a well worn copy of I Will Survive.

My guess, sadly, is that they will not be that collectable. I was gutted when I had to face that reality, but they all went for peanuts, 1000+ 12", 3000 7", 200 albums. Fellow Djs had a lot, the rest went as a job lot for next to nothing.

I now do not own one piece of vinyl

They deff wont be mint unfortunately. but I do try to look after my stuff so will be in a good condition.
Now to find some one who wants them lol

Gave mine away, I now have only one piece of vinyl in the house, an album produced by George Martin in 1971 with one of artists called Annelise...

Worth nothing. Even if collectable, they need to be excellent/mint

happy to have some of the 12" off you if you have a list ....

I have most of them all on/in a list will sort it out at the weekend if ok with you. I will scan the list and email ?

I too would be happy to have some if cheap/free...... could I have a copy of list? or maybe post up an attached text/word file for me to browse

What sort of stuff is it?

lol.
Its generaly early 90's sort of clubby stuff ( sybil, robin s, felix, ) on 12" that sort of stuff .
Early disco days for me lol

Right I have finally got the list's scanned in.
They are zipped (hand written but legible) any body want it ?
