I think it really depends on what you want to do with them.

We own a set of Eurolite PAR 64's with the 10mm LED's - probably similar to the Illuminhous you list. Use them mainly for uplighting, have quite a tight beam angle, but nice and bright. Nopw and again they get popped on an overhead bar and used for fill lighting on the rig which works quite nicely.

Also got to try the ADJ Mega Bars last weekend. Very very different unit. Same type of LED's, but give a much wider spread of light. Would say the throw is fairly similar to the PAR's, but they offer a different type of effect. Personally not something I would use on a rig, but offers a different option for architectural work. Also wasn't all that wowed by the built in sequences on the ADJ kit, but that may have more to do with us popping them on a blue drape!

It's worth remembering that the output from an LED PAR will not match that of a traditional unit.

I'm really trying to reorganise my lights (and make them a bit lighter) so I was thinking of replacing my two light stands with a goalpost and have a kam swingfire in the middle with an led par can (or 2 depending on brightness) either side and my led dynarocks on the outside of them, or alternatively the swingfire with the dynarocks either side and the light bar mount on the top of the goalpost. The led parcans are to replace my existing halogen par 56s and they will provide the 'flashing lights' whilst the other unit provide the 'moving effects'
