just i tryed to do a mix between:
Zombie Nation - Kernkraft 400 and CK - Dreamer

when i listened to the beats of dreamer, and the kernkraft beats, they sounded the same, i then went for a mix... gr8 but slowly lost beats. Am i on the right road?

Also does it matter if the BPM isnt exactly the same?

Also why if i play something on DJ software (with the beats not right), then do it again on my decks, it sounds better on my decks? rolleyes.gif

It sure does it has to be exctally the same for the mix to last when and the faster the bpm the quicker it will go out of sync

as for why you decks sounds better than your pc i dont really know

What decks are you bpm matching with? or more importantly, what pitch steps does it offer...? The smaller the pitch steps, the better.

For example.. a pc mixing program may only offer pitch steps of ".1" (point one) which means if the pitch difference between to tracks is (say) 3.2%...thats fine....however if the pitch difference is 3.28%, the nearest your gonna get is 3.3% which will require several "nudges" down throughout a mix.

Ok, if your pitch control offers 0.02% steps...youre laughing...ha ha ha
