Well I recently bought a pair of mystic LED from phase one in darlington while on holiday ( thtas what becomes of the isle of man no disco shops )
While the look a little ugly and bulky I swear by them now 100%
they hapen to be my favourite lights on either small rig or large
cant wait to get another pair but sadly have to until uk stocks replenish
cheers

I bought a pair about 6 weeks ago and I agree totally that they are really ugly mugs but they don't half create a good effect and fill the dancefloor. With haze, the beams of light look really nice. It may look big and bulky but it isn't.

Could either of you describe how they compare to the old "mushroom" effects in terms of size and output (the cases look similar)?

I personally think that they are better than those Mushrooms. They are quite light for the size and even though there is a moving part inside, you can't hear it as it is very quiet. If you DMX two of them togeather and have haze or smoke, the effect is fantastic and the coverage is very wide. You could honestly use them on their own although I never would as I like to have a few different effects. When the LED's aren't moving about in a cycle, they are sharp and coverage is good. When the movement cycle is on then it's even better. If you have them on simple plug and play then the movement cycle will come into action every 30 seconds or so.

I think these are really good value for money. I just wish that they looked better but when it's dark you don't notice.

Thanks,

I was with the dj who's been teaching me the art of being a mobile dj last night and monday night doing discos at a local high school and we used my acme miracled and pair of adj mystics, and in a hall big enough to hold 300+ the 3 lights filled the place. I was so pleased with my purchases. Unfortunately we couldn't use haze, although the 2 retailers that I bought the lights off showed me the lights with haze and the looked stunning.
