1. Basketball. Everyone is split into two teams, each team then spread themselves around the hall with one of the team being at the end being the basket. The ball is then passed to one one the team members. The idea of the game, is for the team to pass the ball inbetween each other (no moving when holding the ball) and eventually get it to their goalie.
If you have some that are mobile and some not, you could say that no one is allowed to move at anytime, or have someone pushing them around.
2. Football. Using a Beachball as a football (because it's bigger), or something a bit bigger than that they have to pass (using their hands or chairs) and score a goal as usual (no goalie).
3. Catch. Chairs in a circle facing the thrower in the middle. Those who drop the ball, must then place their usual catching hand on their head, if they drop the next one, you could turn the chair sideways, and if they drop the 3rd they are out. If the catch the ball having been penalised previously, they move back up (ie. sideways to frontways with one hand, and then back to both hands).
4. Pass the Parcel - as usual
5. Balloon Relay - line up in two rows, they have to pass the balloon to the person behind them, once at the back, the person needs to come to the front, and the whole process starts again until they are back in the original order.
6. Donought munching - string a load of ring donoughts on a rope, and the first one to eat the donought off the string wins.
7. Pin the Tail on the Donkey - as usual
8. Pinata - as usuall
That's all i can think of at the moment. It does depend on the disabilities, whether they are just physical, or mental as well. I hope you get the gig, as these kind of events, can be so much more rewarding.
Neil.
