tesco digital have renewed there website offering all downloads as mp3 as well as wma and best of all the mp3's are 320 kb

No they haven't most new stuff is still only wma

bass hunter single and dizzee rascal both mp3 you can choose wma or mp3 on them but just checked not all are available some are still wma only !!!

just thought as the 2 i downloaded were pretty new they must all be the same

but hopefully soon the two i got at 320 kb are great will have to check the quality of the wma's they used to be 192 see if they have changed

Although there are over a dozen "highstreet" names offering fully legal music track downloads, there are only 3 or 4 actual music librarys/companies behind all of those highstreet services. You can often tell which highstreet "frontends" are attached to whose actual music library by some of the URLs which are shown in the address bar on Internet Explorer as you navigate around the sites. Also, sometimes the small print on the various sites discloses who provides the actual downloads too.



So...whilst Tesco are the only frontend to advertise this upgrade in their music files, all the other frontends who use the same backend music library as Tesco will probably be making similar announcements in due course.
