In my wallet in the change purse bit i carry some diff rated glass fuses and my 10 gig pen drive.
I never leave home without my wallet so I'm prepared.

Another good suggestion is to gaffa tape some rated glass fuses to the equipment or case.

This has saved me a couple of times.

I carry a toolbox, I can't fit a meter and soldering iron in my wallet.

we carry soldering iron in the glove box but the reason for fuses close at hand is to fix the problem quick without going to the van.

Same as Jim,
I carry a toolbox;
-Hand Powered Torch & LED head torch
-Multipurpose Screwdriver with Hex driver
-Adjustable spanner
-Penknife
-Gaffatape
-Double-sided velcro
-DVM
-Mains Socket tester
-Fuses (glass for equipment and domestic) and lamps
-Spare USB A-B cable
-Spare IEC

Wallet is empty.. sadwalk.gif other than bank cards, a few business cards (work and dj related), and a bunch of receipts to be filed...

I guess for those that only carry music (ie Club DJ's), they don't generally need a toolbox.

Gaffa taping fuses is a good idea (I've done it myself on machines), but only if it can't be smashed whilst loading/unloading.

I thought that most DJs wallets carried moths - mine now does! tongue.gif
(Except for those occasions where it carries money to the bank!) 071.gif
