Hi all

I just got one of these to have a play with and using the IR remote can not access the No 1 when typing in a message... I know the button works as it is also the shift key, and it does this fine.. I have tried multiple presses and even holding it for an age but no luck the other buttons do the letters then the number ie A,B,C,2 for key 2 and so on but nothing from 1.

I tried using the capital I but it has the bars top and bottom so looks just like an I and not a 1..

This makes it useless for say telephone No's or any birthdays with a 1 in them such as 21st 18th etc...

Any one know if I am doing something wrong or is this a glitch with this item... I will get a keyboard for it but need to be a PS2 connector all mine are USB lol...

Other than that good bit of kit for the money...

edit: Just foud a PS2 to USB converter and a keyboard works fine its just the little device that comes with it...

Mine does the same, at least its not faulty, just poor software.

I recommend you send it back and get one with firmware that works.

Hardware or firmware, it should do as its designed.
