I'm already working, but the 'client' needs a quote!!!

Service required: Disco
PLI & PAT required: Yes
Area: Islington
Hours required: 10.00pm -2.00am
Required to set-up gear by: 5pm - to be confirmed.
Guests - 75
Presentation: Very Smart / Black Tie
Venue Access: thru Main Entrance off main road.
Parking: Very Poor - no carpark.


Currently, quotes are £770.00, £495.00 and £600.00.
Anyone?

I wont be surprised if they dont get anyone at this stage of the game... and they are running a lottery on price!

Although the actual times required are 10pm-2am, there have been a couple of quotes for 'standing time'.

The DJ will be required to set-up in the afternoon.

Dan seriously, the client would probably be better off working out his budget... then asking anyone if they are prepared to work for that amount...... The longer he leaves things by obtaining different quotes the more chance he has of losing any potential dj - as there is always going to be someone who will snap them up just because they are free at this stage. I think you should advise him/her that the longer they leave it the more it will cost..... how many of us have had a last minute panic call for NYE with the client offering mega dosh!

But you can't always 'get thru' to these people on the end of the phone.

The 'client' agreed that he had to make a quick decision - or else he could end up paying a lot of money - the longer he left it.

But I suspect he is also looking for comparable 'prices' and 'service'.

Anyone who is unsure about their New Years Eve booking - I suggest you double check your paperwork.
