Looks like even "NOW" are having trouble finding 30 decent hits in the last couple of months.
Plenty of great tunes are featured on Now 56, many of which we'll be able to play from this double CD this December, rather than carrying a load of well played CD singles in our bulging CD cases.
Its just that some of the tunes are very old in relative terms...eg: Justin Timberlake: Rock your body...I remember looking for that track (in vain) on the last 2 or 3 Now Albums.
Here's the listings...
Disc : 1

I personally find the Now collections great for having all of those tracks grouped together with easy access, even though I have most of them either as singles or on the Mastermix Pro Disc series.
But for around £13 you can't go wrong having a second copy of some of the stuff.

I got my tracklisting off of Woolies website - Hmmm apart from a fairly good advance music download service, maybe woolies should have stuck to Pic'n'mix..

I have been a collector of all the Now Albums, I have 1 to 20 on Vinyl and 21 to 55 on CD (56 will be added tonight!)
A few of the collections have some really uninspiring tracks, others seem to be much better, eg Now 46.
However take a look at some of the compilations around and compare the listings and spot the sheer number of duplicates!
As has been said, many of these tarcks on now 56 have long gone! Busted, sleeping with the light on? Where is crash the wedding?

I do aggree that the now compilations used to be more upfront but i shall still get a copy of it.

I agree the Now series are very good but by the time they come out I will have bought most of the singles and put them on a compilation of my own making;why on earth would I want a third copy.On second thoughts as Kazz said recently you could always give the originals away as prizes.
Incidently I counted at least 21 singles of that album that most dj's would have.At an average price of 3:50 each thats a whopping £73:75. Not a bad saving when you get the album for 14:99
Makes you want to spit!!!

The saving is good, however you need the singles way before the release of the compilation albums.

True but its good to clear out 20 singles out of the cd case when NOW arrives!

Also with these NOW and compilation albums the cases are very fragile. I've replaced quite a few boxes over the years. The replecement ones seem to be made of softer, less brittle plastic hence last longer.

Yes Karen they have. Yet more evidence of the price fixing Gestapo. I wonder what the reason for this is?, I thought that lowering the price of goods for re-sale was at the discretion of the retailers profit margin?, rather then something that could be enforced by government agencies?.
If thats the case, then no doubt it'll only be a matter of time before equipment prices go up, so better get your orders in now before i'm forced to hike up my prices in line with the RRP
