Sam - sorry to read about your difficulty - is this your only user name/log in onto DJ's United?

We're looking into this for you.

Have a browse through the 20,000+ posts already on the board, or PM myself, or another moderator if theres a specific DJ/Disco question.

Cheers & Welcome...

thank q i can log in2 the foru but i can only c the top part of it
paula
Try clicking on view new posts on the top right, or scroll down the bottom and click on todays active topics.
See if you can get in that way.

Or perhaps it has something to do with validating your membership, in which Chris is the only one that can do so!

Sam, I'm not always on the forum these days to answer questions in minutes so please listen to the moderators until I get the chance to contact you directly.

DJ Kray is essentially spot on with his explanation for your problems.

The reason behind your limited access, is down to the forum cleanup which I do every 30 days or so. This involves suspending the accounts of members who are sat at 0 posts for months on end, or those who purely use the forum as a Q&A resource. In other words, ask one question get their answer and never come back!.

Once again, this forum is set up as a professional community, and basically you will get out of it exactly what you put in. For instance we have members swapping bookings and passing work to each other, and this will never apply to you until people get to "know you" - since nobody will pass work on to somebody they don't "know" or get to trust, and if you continue to lurk at 0 posts then you are not likely to become part of that.

There are of course exceptions to the rule, for instance those who have many 10's of posts or who post constructive advice when they get the opportunity (however limited the opportunities to visit us, may be), won't have their accounts cancelled. I only cancel the accounts of those who visit frequently to read but have 0 posts, or those who have been a member for Months and have yet to make their first post wallbash.gif .

As a rule of thumb if you have 50+ posts under your name, or a participation level (shown beside each of your posts) of 10% or greater, then your account won't be removed. However if you are using this forum purely as a resource or a good bedtime read and are still stuck at 0 posts after 30 days or more, then there really is no excuse not to contribute something back into the community, even if its only an introduction to yourself.

Many of the Mods & Members spend a great deal of time welcoming new members onto the forum and every effort is made to assist those new to the forum and new to the business, so please make the effort. Those who don't may find their access removed.

Sam, send me a p.m if you would like your member account re-instated, since you do have some posts. However your account was removed due to the length of time that has elapsed since your last visit.

I have also removed your profile photo from the members area, since we don't allow under 16's to post anything which may jeopordise their safety, which includes personal photos.
