What kind of turntable did you start with, and what kind you have now, and what you recommend to new djs? Just curious...

Use the technics 1200 or 1210 if you are serious and want to do this for a couple of years.

If I had to use decks I would as everbody says use Technics 1210's but mine are still sitting in their flight cases in the office, I don't use them but would never consider parting with them !!
