One of my VR8's has started to disconnect itself from the Dmx chain on an intermitent basis, I know they do this if they pick up voltage in the Dmx cable to protect themselves but this one plays up even when no power cables are placed near the Dmx cables and it doesn't matter where in the chain or what address I give it.
It's even more annoying in that it seems to work fine when testing it at home, yet fails instantly as soon as I take it out with me.

Anyone had any experience of this or any ideas where to start looking, no sign of cracks in the solder joins or boards.
