Guys,

Picked up my smoke machine from a mates yesterday. Its been sitting at his place for about 7 months (after a party) with fluid in it.

When I turn it on, the light switch illuminates. I wait and wait but the lead control switch never illuminates, subsequently It Don't Smoke !!

Any ideas on what to check? I assume it has power becuase of the light light switch ??

Is there anything that shows if the heater is calling for heat?
Could be a heater fault or thermostat circuit.

I left it on for over half an hour last night and the unit didn't get warm in the slightest.

So I would say not?

Are you competent with a multi meter?
Check to see if the heater has gone open circuit.

What make and model is it?

Its a EuroLite N-10. Looks almost identical to the Generic 400w £40ish smoke machines.

It was only bought last July and has been used two/three times. I've found the receipt, Shall I just take it back under warranty?

If it's still under warranty, you would be foolish not taking it back.
