Which finger/thumb on which hand do you press your Mic On/Off button with?
There, thats's the question, and I was going to come up with a poll to vote in...but it was all way too complicated... so, please reply on a post, below this... some possible answers might be.
The finger nearest my thumb, on my left hand...with the mic in my right hand....
or..."With the side of my thumb, using the hand with the mic in it..."
or...perhaps you press the mic on/off button with your left thumb, then pick the mic up from the table/deck with that same hand, amomnet later."
Thanks in advance for your replies.

I use the thumb of the hand I hold my mic with, although it stays on most of the time and I just use the mixer on/off button.

Same as Danno, thumb of the hand I hold the mic with which can be either hand.
I don't use the side of the thumb, sort of press on the button with the thumb if you see what I mean.

If I'm using the button on the mic then it's thumb on right hand, if I'm using the Mic on/off on the mixer then its index finger on my left hand. Do you want to know my mums maiden name now?

I use an SM58 Beta or sennhiser radio mic so no button but I do use the index finger of my left hand to open and close the fader for the mic channel. and the index finger on my right hand to fade music up and down when I speak...

My mic. doesn't have an on/off switch and I don't hold it. I use an XLR swan neck plugged into the mixer faceplate.
I use my left index finger to hit the "on" button on the mixer.

Hold the mic in my left hand (I'm right handed) and use the mute button on the mixer with my right index finger, or sometimes use the mic fader with afore mentioned finger.
