Just a good wishes post to all who may be using and setting off fireworks tonight.
Have a good time - hope it goes with a bang! But please, please, be very careful.

I'll be taking the missus out tonight to see if the bangs will start her labour. Then she won't have to go for an inducement on Friday.

Well, it's all happened over the weekend. The inducement didn't work at all, so the Missus had a cesarean on Monday. We now have a baby boy named Alexander who came in at 8lb 9oz and 21" long (still 2 weeks early). He's had to spend a couple of days in the neo-natal ward with liquid in his lungs, but looks good for a very speedy recovery. Mum lost quite a bit of blood on the operating table, but is also recovering quickly.
I'll try to post a picture when I can get the polaroid scanned in.

It still seems a bit unreal, especially as he's not up in the post natal ward with Freddy (my wife). Once both of them get home, it'll probably hit me.

I wish I could convince the wife to have child no5

, I don't think that there is anything better in this world than being a parent

, then they grow up and move on

. Its a crying shame you've already mentioned the name of your son, we could have had a xmas Guess the Baby Kays name competition.
