The retail price hasn't be firmly set, but will be less than the old Pioneer DJM-600, and the Tascam X-9, despite the Denon DN-X1500 having sweepable filters just like the Allen&Heath mixers, Penny & Giles x-fader, a much cleaner audio path than the DJM, and an array of stunning features, including a proper text display of what you're doing, when you start using the software upgradable (by user/USB) effects (no more squinting at a rotary control, and a few red or green LED's.)
Also, all 8 inputs are assignable to any of the four channels, so...if you like your record decks, on channels 2 & 3, with you CD-decks on channels 1 & 4, you can. Or, for special effects, if you want the same input to be on two channels (with one channel having some of its EQ's killed, for example, so you can crossfade between the two) you can.
