Just wondered if anyone has the Kool Sound UHF-216 dual handheld radio mic system.

Sorry - I'm no help with the model you mention.

I mainly use a shure radio mic and find the range very good as well as the quality.

Was looking for a set of spare mics recently and was rather impressed with the AKG range and purchased a couple of their radio mics recently.
The feel of the AKG WMS 400 Vocal Set / D 880 is rather better in the hand.....ooer!
The output quality was not quite 'as good' as what I'm used to with the shure IMO, but overal, a very good mic. Have not used the lower spec spare mic yet (SR40) but the demo in the shop seemed ok.

Are you looking for a particular type of radio mic system?

I'm looking for a dual system ideally, one where i caan get both handheld and lapel/beltpack transmitters as optional extras & a few uhf frequencies to choose from.
I've seen the AKG Flexx system which looks alright, but i'm still waiting for a UK dual lapel version to become available, while searching for dual radio mic i saw the Kool Sound one, which looks a bit like the Smart Wireless or JHS ones which i believe are ok.
Was hoping they would be pretty well used in the karaoke,dj industry as they're from the Kam camp to get me a proper user review of them.
