PEL this is a grey area with me. i know all about the ppl, pli etc but this is a new area 2 me. what does it entail and can i get a personal one or is it just for venues. my local pub aproached me and i asked what "music" liscences they currently had and when they checked they dont pay a PEL which means no DISCO. ill be greatful on any info on this topic.

you can not get an individual PEL, as there are legal requirements that need to be met, such as fire exits etc,

a non-PEL venue can have a disco, and live entertainment up to a duo, but no dancing.
