I have one. Had it for just over a year

It does the job. Now that the bugs have been ironed out by cortex.

It makes finding tracks a doddle..... you can find requests within seconds. you dont have to trundle around whith loads of cases of CD's

If you cant afford the Denon version buy one !! If you can afford the Denon...... no contest the Denon is in a different league.

there is still the odd hic up with them
if you use it like i use mine (finding requests) then it will serve you well

this whole finding requests thing is the reason these controlers are here to stay...

its a god send at weddings and parties where the music requests are some what random...

if you play from CD then adding any of the HD controlers to your setup will make life better for you..

I agree whole hartedly with Mark...

However if you use a Laptop it is a massive step backwards. I have both and still favour the laptop.

I use it now to play Music video, Karaoke, Display photographs, record any individual fader or groups of faders on my desk, can edit on the fly and play out with in seconds, use notepad to keep notes & requests etc. Oh and I can find and cue a tune up in seconds...

Both have their place, just depends what you want to do with it I guess...

Thats a good price!

I must admit i did look into the whole HD DJ systems when at BPM last year, But kept thinking, If i had this, Ill still need the laptop for the karaoke etc.

I suppose it all depends on what each DJ prefers, and thats the good thing, theres plenty to choose from!
