Hope you have considered a very important point.
You are considering using 4 cabs all of which are 4ohm impedance.
If you are aiming to run 4 speakers (Bin & top each side linked parrallel) off ONE amp this will give you a 2 ohm load NOT GOOD[b]

If you only have one power amp and going to run 4 speakers as mentioned above then you would be better off getting 4 x 8ohm speakers giving you a total of 4 ohms per channel ...... Much better, less heat etc = longer life, less damage.......... Blah Blah Blah

OOOPS.... read your post again
Didnt realise you were only using one set.
Would still go with a pair of 8 ohm cabs, then if you want to add bins your ok !!

would i be able to run these 4ohm cabs from this amp no problem or not ?

Should be fine. The 1280s is a powered mixer is it not?
MobileDamo
yes the 1280s is a powered mixer, specs up top of page

If you run 2 ohms you wont get the max power out of the amp.
What will happen is the transformer in the amp will run out of amps before volts and will probably blow the fuses (if fitted). If internal fuses arent fitted you could blow the output transistors or hopefullyy the mains fuse first.

Pro amps give maximum power at 2 ohm most of my amps are pv 2000 at 8 ohm they are 700 watt rms per side
at 4ohm they are 900watt rms per side and at 2 ohm they are 1000 watt rms per side thats whay they are called PV2000 I run them all at 2 ohm .Most lower grade amps only work 4 or 8 ohm

I would expect that of a high powered amp.
Most lower power rating amps have to work into standard speakers of 4 or 8 ohm hence a spec into that impedance.
My own home build amp works into 1ohm or less but I wouldnt get the full power out of it.
It is best matched to 4 ohms due to the tarnsformer I used.
