Hi folks

I'd welcome some views on a couple of DJ tools i've found.

DJ Intelligence is an interactive tool that you link in with your website that allows existing and potential customers to do a variety of things.

Take a look at

http://www.djintelligence.com

DJ Webmin is an online tool for administering your bookings and, if you have other DJ's working for you, they can view the calendar online to check when they're working next, plus a ton of other stuff.

Let me know what you think of these. I've been looking at these tools for a few days and can't make up my mind whether they're worth paying out for.

Incidentally, both tools work together so that information is shared between the two sets of tools.

Look forward to comments

Darren,

I found DJ Intelligence very overpriced for what I wanted, at least compared to a A4 Diary and a bit of common sense!. In fact unless you have some form of UK wide DJ empire they do work out very expensive for the average DJ with 1 or 2 roadshows.

If its an online availability checker that you need for your website, then check out this site:-

POWELL GRAPHICS

They offer low cost on-line availability calenders which can be updated by a password protected Admin Control panel, from any computer with an internet connection. I use their "Freelance" Calender which is simply customised with my website logo and allows realtime indication to a potential client, of my availability upto 12 months in advance.

To update, simply type in your username and password and the calender appears with a little check box next to each date. Simply click the box and it changes the colour of the box to indicate that you are booked for that particular date.

And the best thing about it is the price - only $20.00, which works out at around £14 for one years subscription.
