Interesting that generally it's her newer material that seems to do well, but saying that no one seems to feel her music from a disco point of view, is that popular. I saw her in concert earlier this year and she was amazing. Ok yeah, she does sing pop, but she does it really well. Maybe the energy she creates live doesn't come across on her records.
I like "Better The Devil You Know" too. I like her new record "Two Hearts " as well but wondered if it were too slow to get people dancing.
One of the first discos I did I put on this Kylie megamix thing which I stupidly thought was quite cool, and it cleared the floor. Later on someone asked me for "Especially For You" with Jason Donovan, and I was expecting everyone to throw beeer cans at me but everyone got up and danced and sung along to it. Weird.

The art here is really to know what is and isn't popular. The early PWL releases (1988-1992) are not quite so popular. However, I kind the following pre 1992 worthwhile
Better the Devil You Know - Still requjested and very popular (probably because of Steps covered it)
I should be so lucky - It's on most 80's albums. Requested sometimes
Especially for you - A bit of a cult slow number, considered naff at the time but ok now
Other stuff only be request.
Although the locomotion is acceptable, it's not as popular as Little Eva. Nothing wrong in playing it though.
The megamix you mentioned is a 'floor clearer' I have some of these, and I think are are very good, but not suitable for a general function unless it's an 80's style night.
