Found the 1986 album Sinitta the other day, some decent catchy tunes in there. She had a few big hits.

Does anybody play any of she numbers?

So Macho seems quite popular at Hen Nights.

Personally I'd love to play a Sonia song, but I think it would be a quick way of ending the night early, possibly with me being beaten up! oops.gif

Yes!

I also went to one of her concerts a few weeks ago and she's as good as ever.

I play So Macho quite regularly and it always goes down well. I was surprised to hear another DJ play it tonight and it got a great reaction.

Back in the late 80s, I did a tour of some nightclubs in Dundee, Kirkcaldy, Livingston, Edinburgh & Glasgow with her, making sure the DJ was playing the right tunes at the right time. At the time she was censored2.gif one of her dancers but feel out with him halfway through, so it became a bit frosty. Enjoy playing a wee mix of So Macho, Toy Boy and Cruising.

So Macho 12'inch was an excellent track for mixing with at the time.

Toyboy was also popular, but not played it was 20 years, although I have no reason to think it won't get a reasonable response on the dancefloor.

I do play occasionally 'Right back from where we started from' which I think was released in 1989, and normally goes down well with older crowds.
