Use a Flight Case which has a sloping top for you mixer. The IDEX range have one which allows the mixer to be raised and locked at 45 degrees angle. There is also a 4U space for mounting a CD Player, Effects Units or CD and Amp!.

For your equipment, I would use an Idex Case for mounting the Mixer and CD Player, then use a standard rack mount case for your Amp(s). You can pre-wire the CD Player into the mixer and just take across the Left & Right channel leads from the mixer to the amp rack. You can even leave your amps Daisychained in the case and simply plug L and R inputs into the first amp in the chain to save on set up time smile.gif .

Can argue with Chris, or the second option is to buy a complete 10U rack case with a slooping top and wire everything in, the downside is that it will be very heavy

thanx guys for that ads i have already got a kind of rack you are on about but it aint got a sloping top! 014.gif its a 12U i think 533.gif but i got practicully everything in there bar 2 amps that are well heavy 1028.gif but its is extremely heavy like you said it would be.

Chris i got a case but not the kind of one you were saying i got a dap audio one with sapce for my cd player, mixer its just ideal!

Not a problem, that's what the forum is all about

Are there any good suppliers of these rackmount units though? I'm really looking for a wheeled unit, with an angled top, that's big enough to hold everything (including computer, but perhaps not amp if it's stupidly heavy) that's also reasonably cheap! I've found just one, for £285, but I'm just wondering what my other options are. Can Congleton supply anything like this? I'm looking for something a bit...classier, I guess, then the usual carpet covered desktop unit, and it would be an added bonus if it could hold (or even have clamped to, with a movable arm [which I already have]) a flatscreen monitor. smile.gif

Thanks for any suggestions.

(I'm out of the country for the next week so don't think it rude of me if I don't reply!)
