Sorry! I am new and have lots of questions!

I have seen people on this forum who say that you can remove DRM on downloaded tracks. How do you do this? Is it legal?!? If you do remove it can you burn cds of downloaded tracks and play them legally?

Also I have heard of digital license. Do you need this to play music from a computer/ Ipod( for backup)?
Does it matter if they are downloaded songs or if they are imported from a cd?

Officially, no it is not legal to remove DRM. You don't have to remove the DRM to burn to a CD for all downloaded tracks. I believe you can legally burn Itunes to a CD and use normally and it may apply to other downloads too.

The digital licence is all up in the air at the moment and nothing final has been resolved.
