I have this on a request list for an upcoming wedding but can't even seem to find such a song title on a lyric search. Anyone know it?

I will be contacting the bride in the next couple of days but would rather know in advance if poss.

Never heard of it,

However it could Possibly be "Steppin the the name of love"
Only a guess though so dont hold me to it

Thanks for that - always nice to have a 2nd (& 3rd) opinion that I'm not missing something obvious (& then made to look a complete pratt when I phone her).

Anyway one of you probably has the correct answer and I'll let you know after I speak to her tomorrow evening smile.gif

Or Third World
Dukesy
I assumed Heavy D but agree, could also be Third World.
If still unsure, give us an idea of list context, i.e. the other requests included!

I don't think the original would get confused with R.Kelly, so I would put money on the Heavy D version.
Does anybody know who the Heavy D track sampled?

Here's the five requests:
  1. Mark Ronson - Ooh Wee
  2. Kanye West - Slow Jamz
  3. Scouting for Girls - She's so Lovely
  4. R Kelly - Now that we Found Love
  5. Killers - Mr Brightside

The sampling on the Heavy D track isn't Third World.
Have a listen to the original (Third World) then listen to the Heavy D track.

I've searched and found that the original was by the O'Jays, covered by Third World, Martha Reeves, B.T. Express and Heavy D & The Boyz.
According to articles, the American songwriting and record production team Gamble and Huff wrote and produced the O'Jays version.

Just off the phone to the groom - I played a bit of the Heavy D one from the YouTube link in Marcs post and that's the one they want so yet another DJU success smile.gif

Slow Jamz is by Twistaz - featuring Kanye West I think, if you struggle to find it.

Yes I already have this - the list was to show the other requests that had been made in relation to the 'R Kelly' one.
