That's footie, not rugby. Their tunes are Swing Low, Sweet Chariot and The Gambler.

Anyway, for a win, you need Queen, We Are The Champions and Another One Bites The Dust.

For losing Springboks it has to be The Lion Sleeps Tonight. tongue.gif

Heard on Radio 2 that 'Take That' were inspirational for the team (according to guest Will Greenwood)
The song chosen was 'Never Forget', 'drawn upon' as inspirational.....

Tend to keep sporting type songs out of functions unless it's a footy club.

I was playing at a rugby club last night so as you would expect any England songs would go down very well

I was asked to play swing low sweet chariot but the only one I could find was

UB40 & The United Colours Of Sound - Swing Low Sweet Chariot (England Pride Mix)

And boy did it go down a storm i played it 10 mins before the start and was asked to play it afterwards but I didn’t have the bottle to

also was asked to play Kenny Rogers the gambler as it was England’s training song but I didn’t have it with me unfortunately

Well surprisingly although we lost the night still went very well and by time everyone was very merry all was forgotten so all my panicking if we lost then a miserable night was for nothing

I was in Paris for both the semis last week and went over this week just to watch it on a video screen next to the Eiffel tower ... but either way there's a certain old Spitting Image record I might have considered playing whistling.gif
