Played a Christmas song earlier today if that counts!
The other half likes 'let it snow' and I don't mind 'Stop the Calvary' but my all time favorite is 'Do They Know It's Christmas?'

Christmas Parties mean Christmas music, so I will be playing the usual fare from 1 December.
Prob Mariah Carey is the pick of them.
Also like Shakey.

I have a 18th to do on 24th Nov and was asked at the meeting if I will take some xmas tunes with me, so I expect that will be their first outing this year.
John & Yoko - Happy Xmas is one that always pulls the heart strings for me.
Wizzard and Slade are brilliant tunes and the ones that make me realise Christmas is here though.

I always love Frankie Goes to Hollywood's, The Power of Love in the Christmas tunes list.
Does anyone still play Chrimbo tunes on New Years eve? I try to, only cos I love them, but people tend to groan a bit and they don't get so much an airing as they would on Xmas eve or in the run up - but New Years is still Christmas!

Know what you mean!
I think all shops should be banned from playing Christmas music...especially the poor audio quality tunes that seem to emanate from pound saver shops, shopping precincts and the services counter in Woolies…..where the young ignoramuses serving belt out the same tracks every hour eight weeks leading up to the last working day of business.

Don't get me wrong, I have played xmas music before at festive parties in November, but it doesn't go down well until you enter December imo

for most of us, we take more notice of what's in the charts on say 2 December than 24 December. For most of us, our bread and butter gigs are prior to the main xmas chart.
