My review of BPM
When i first heard about BPM, i eagerly ordered my tickets - Well worth it
Over the 2 day theres been plenty to see and do, play with equipment that one day i may add to my current rig.
On saturday, I arrived at 11am, Met up with RH Dukesy and made our way into the arena (after some ticket sales to Dan

)
The first thing that caught my eye? The three STUNNING young ladies ( Jenna, Sarah and Jemma )
Stood on stilts and dressed appropriatly they handed out the BPM gig bags, Containing the usual bumpf yu get including the Official BPM brochure.
We decided to split up and pursue different areas, Dan headed towards MixMash and i headed where ever those young ladies went

(Only joking)
I went over to see ProMobile and Eddie Short.
Ive spoken to eddie and numorous occasions and he always has time to speak to you, ProMobile, were one of many major contributors to the day, On the stand, the chance to win some bubbly and also free cd;s back copies of the magazine and all this manned by his mum and dad, Really nice people and very chatty,
After the chat i nipped over to PCDJ to see about the possible purchase of PCDJ with the KJ plugin, Sadly, No one there knew how to use the laptop and they had no MP3+G's to try so of i went to KAM
Kams, stand was one of many that stood out from the crowd, Everything on display and a full DMX light show going on complemented by there 6 smoke machines (yes i did say 6)
They had a VIP area, i managed to swindle my way in and got loaded with Corona and sat and had a play with the kit.
Just next to Kam Was Cortex, I didnt pay particular interest here, as most items demo'd i beleive were aimed at the club DJ/Scratch.
Was good to see HTFR there, Selling items with reductions for the show of upt o 30% on some items. There Vinyl area was always full of people.
Just next to HTFR the Pioneer Main Stage, OMG seeing the whole thing full, DMX lighting used to its full potential, A Massive sound system, and enough bass to shake a tail feather, It was amazing when DJ;s took to the stage.
Finally i reached DENON, Was good to see Gary there, And put a face to a name, Good to see you and the rest of the gang there, ( I half inched a pen from the stand and also i had to swop my Pioneer Lanyard for a DENON one while there but hey its all good fun)
DENON had a new bit of kit on show, PROTOTYPE and some bits missing , but it got fully explained, and its pretty good as its MIDI compatable
At this point i met back up with Dukesy and i found the young ladies again, So ey obilged to the photo shoot that can be seen in the pictures here, With all the smiles from the DENON gang and every passer by, the area was soon full.
While there i had a play with the DN HD2500 and was very impressed, Perhaps one day i can add that to the roadshow who knows.
Numark were opposite DENON and they showcased some amazing kit there also, Again alot aimed at the CLUB DJ , but i still had a nose round.
With all the stands there, i found alot not actually selling, Many people commented on how items are there, but none could be purchased, Which was a shame as i had a empty credit card and an empty boot to fill.
Anways, Back on tour
MixMash
All i can say is (not to sound like peter kay here) Its the Future!
Loads of stuff on offer, and offered at discount show prices, The guys there were true gents, and really nice chaps! Keep up the good work there.
I nipped over to Citronic/Skytec - wanted to see the new CDM10:4 mixer,
They had a prototype there, but couldnt play with it,
The new mixer comes with USB support and a full effects unit.
Ultimax were just next to citronic, Showcasing some of there gear, Including the Winch stands and deckstands, They to offered discounts for the show.
One stand that seemed connected with Ultimax, was JingleDownload.com
They were giving away £5 download vouchers for there site, (i havent had a look yet ) but they advertise loads of jingles/sweepers/beds etc ... worth a look, i actually walked past them several times, and got stuffed with these vouchers ooopssss
One company/stand i have to mention is PS Clubbers Clothing.
They supply/make clubbers clothing and also for the DJ.
So if you need shirts or corpoate wear for your business, I recommened these. i purchased a few t shirts, and a hoody (dont ask) all at resonable prices.
Zoom Karaoke stood on the corner round from PS and they showcased discs and also a new piepce of equipment The Quickey
Well to be precise AVA Quickey
A HDD based karaoke player, with a load of features,
Behringer stood with a good selection of equipment, i had a look at the mixer side of there stand, and think i know what mixer i want now.
One guy ive got to mention is MC Rebbe A nice chap (photo here)

All in all there were loads of stands and loads of retailers there, The down side to me, Not many selling, Just seemed to be a showcase instead, Perhaps something for next year
Highlight of the Weekend? The young ladies
Lowlight? Paying £4.50 for burger and chips. (cold at that)
BPM - An Excellent show, An Excellent idea, Show your support and visit it next year,
One quick note : I couldnt believe all the freebies handed out. Ive now t about 30 lanyards, A bumbag thingy, hats pens bottle openers cd's
One thing i didnt get though was a DENON T shirt (Note to Gary)
