was wondering if anyone had any experience of them?
they look allright to me, but suppose the proof of the pudding is in the eating, and not gonna take a trip to Germany to hear them!

I had a pair of XXL passive 12" cabinets for a while and they weren't bad for the price.
I used them for mid/top only and they needed EQ at the top end to prevent harshness. On their own they were quite punchy and bass response was good.
The cabinet design was "inspired" by the JBL EON range ( AKA copy of ).
XXL cabinets, both powered and passive, are available from Terralec at Southend.

Decided to bite the bullet and get a pair, have ordered tonight, so will post here a little review when they arrive!
Hopefully will be able to compare them to a pair of 12" Class Ds powered by my prosound 1k amp (unless ive sold it/them by the time they arrive!)
See what happens, if the worst comes to the worst they'll be back on ebay by the end of next week!

more than happy with the Class Ds to be honest and would happily recommend them to anyone. I'm likely to be moving a couple of times in the next few months so would be easier not to have to lug an amp as well as 2 speakers around. Also if/when I do start doing discos would give me a bit of backup, ie running off 2 amps instead of 1.
Plus changing to the actives can be almost solely financed by selling them and the amp, so cant really complain, plus they have a 2 year warranty! which the amp has long since expired!
And on top of that for £160 inc p&p I reckon could sell them on , for a similar amount if they are

, so nowt really to lose.

Have you used them yet?

Yes and no....
I've plugged them in and run some sound through them, but havent gigged them yet. I'm currently an immobile dj (driving test tommorow) so haven't gigged at all as yet! Other than supplying gear/djing in a small bar for 6 months earlier in the year (so i do have some experience, just not of mobile jockeying!)
Waiting on some proper cables to arrive before testing the properly (and then writing a review)
