I brought a Jem Technofog Machine 2 years ago, never had any problems with it at all.
However at Christmas the remote controller got damaged and the metal pins were broken off the 5-pin din plug. Before I find somewhere to buy a new one I was wondering if anyone has got the same smoke machine and if anyone knows what color cable goes to what pin of the din plug.
If nobody knows the wiring of the pins, do you know wher i can buy a new remote controller from pls ?

Any JEM dealer should be able to help.

Try Blue Aran.

Martin will email you the wiring diagram if you ring them.

After having problems with my Jem Technofog and it not been working since February I have finally found a solution!!
When I was plugging my DMX controller in last week to the lights noticed that there is a sound to light entry socket and a........DIN SMOKE MACHINE SOCKET!!

I had a spare 5pin DIN plug-5pin DIN plug lead. I thought to try and plug one end into the smoke machine and the other end into the controller and..... IT WORKS!!

It was going to cost £85 for a new controller for the smoke machine as the PCB on the controller had broken.

Martin were very helpful though, they emailed the wiring diagrams to me, and also the order parts for either the PCB, the cable or a whole new controller.

However only realised this last week and had to buy a smoke machine a couple of weeks ago as the clients wanted smoke and bubbles.

But I am going to use the smaller machines for smaller venues when one is needed.
I bought this one:

Its not a bad machine, has an 800watt heater and can warm up in 1minute flat! And is always ready to fog constantly. Not bad for £39.99 to get me through 2 gigs!

Cheers!!!

Glad you got everything sorted

theres not many venues out there now that allow use of atmospherics or the like
