hi folks i need some help with my dmx, i am currently using 8 acme falcons on one of my rigs along with 4 dynamos, going:

falcon - dynamo - falcon - falcon - dynamo - falcon - falcon - dynamo - falcon - falcon - dynamo - falcon

i have tried to link them to gether using a ca 8, the falcons work ok, but having problems with the dynamos, i have tried most settings on the dips but i have now wondered if its the ca8 thats causing problems.


any thoughts would be more than welcome

i'm no expert but it sounds like the falcons wont control the dynamo's,what i think you will need to do is get a dmx controller(like the stairvillemaster1 recomend looking thonmann)) and give the falcons and dynamos seperate addresses.or the other option is to have 2 ca 8 controllers and link the dynamos and falcons seperately(we do that with dynamos and scimitars)then you can switch from 1 set of lights to the other or have both sets running(another ca8 controller is about £15).and if you are really lucky someone might be able to answer your original question with a solution.
