Any great ideas for a disco themed on School Disco?

I just got a last minute gig tomorrow night with this theme

Any suggestions gratefully recieved

what are the ages of the guests? suggest if between 20 to 30 years then music from 87 - 97 should be popular among the party standards. if older/younger then work out the school age groups around when they were teens.

depends on who's booking you.what is there idea of a school disco,if we do a school disco now you need chart and party stuff.but school disco could also mean in some peoples eye's 70's and 80's music(there are a few cd's out "best of school disco" which are full of this music)so ask them what they are expecting .it depends really when they went to school

Not sure of ages, typical last minute agency booking, sod all info.

i would put request slips out and go with the flow,try and have a word with the organiser before you start to see what they want.sometimes having no info from the agency is better because most of the time the info they do give is wrong(so im led to believe)
