How times change.

When I started out in 1982, it was the norm to play a 'heavy session' such as AC/DC, Motorhead, and reasonably popular as well.

Since the mid-80's I have never bothered, although rock music has changed, the head bangers have disappeared.

Up in Norfolk maybe...though I seem to remember that the Norfolk area loved their Metal in the 80s/90s. There are still many opportunities in the smoke for a real good Grunge/Thrash/Punk etc evening!!!!!

Just as well really....my favourite genre!!!!!

Yes they did in the 80's but talking about metal as opposed to punk (which is fairly popular), i can't imagine there are many regular slots for Motorhead, Tank, and so on. Or maybe I am wrong
