I've been asked to do a "western theme night" - you know, Cowboys & Indians etc.
Can you put your collective heads together to suggest some tunes for me to play?

there is an album by marty robbins call ed "gunfighter ballads" got legend of billy the kid - 5 brothers - streets of laredo - el paso etc. some brilliant cowboy songs.

frankie laine done some good ones.
also try to find some old square dance stuff with the caller on it, you know .......well grab your partner by the toe.spin her round and let her go.
that sort of thing.
did you know line dancing evolved from the wild west? not enough women to go around so the fellas danced in lines basically.
