Part of our job is playing songs which are requested of just plain popular, but it doesn't mean we like them. we just play them!

eg

Robbie Williams - Angels
Steve Harley - Come up & see me

Rob
Mattaious
Ricky Martin
Livin La Vida Loca !
&
Geri Halliwell
Its raining bloody men !

C.S
Bucketheads - tha bomb
Beyonce - irreplaceable
Andy Westcott
Black Lace - Superman.
Dexy's Midnight Runners - Come On Eileen.

I hate both, but the first one will only get played for special clients. Mostly I will just say I don't have it.
High Fidelity
Chesney Hawkes - I Am The One & Only

The other one will come to me in a bit when the old brain wakes up.

I don't feel like dancing - Scissor Sisters
&
Lady In Red - Chris De Burgh
Welsh Audio Man 21
Kingston town - UB40

YMCA & Macarena

Will play them if requested, trouble is they get requested too often signdammit.gif
Dukesy
Cotton Eye Joe
I Will Always Love You
NiM
Wham - I'm your man
DJ Casper - Cha Cha Slide.

I can honestly say I hate those 2 with a passion
Supradave
YMCA - Village People

Dancing Queen - ABBA

Hated both songs before I started DJing and playing both songs just about every weekend for 14 years has not improved my appreciation of them.

My dog (border Collie) hates this record so much that she wrecks anything in her way to get out of the room when it is on the radio. We only found out why she had started wrecking things by accident when the track came on when I was in with her. I kid you not, my normally placid dog goes mental every time she hears it omg.gif

I also detest Get Right by J-Lo coz of it's irritating rift it repeated and repeated ad finitum

As the topic title is name two songs then covering a whole genre doesn't count (even if you made it R and B). rolleyes.gif

Yes R&B for me as well. OK if a big chart hit, otherwise forget it.
