Quite alot of talk on here recently about mixes.
Interesting to know whether any of you folk have a favourite mix set which you prefer at say a bog-standard wedding. Let's say keep it to 6 tracks.

fair enough. I don't either, but interesting to know whether anyone does have a standard mix session of say 30 mins.
Normal club set of 3 hours, normaly use the mic to say goodnight otherwise mix or chop the whole 3 hours including the requests. Dont have a standard mix for weddings.

If I have a young crowd I would put together an early Nighties mix i.e
Bomb (These Sounds Fall Into My Mind) - Bucketheads
Push The Feeling On - Nightcrawlers
Keep Warm - Jinny
Dreamer - Livin' Joy
Hideaway - De'Lacy
Get Up (Everybody) - Stingily, Byron
Vibe - R.Kelly
This is how we do it - Montell Jordan.
Always goes down pretty well.

I do a few mixes as the nights progress, again dependent on the crowd.
You Can't Hurry Love - Phil Collins
Reach - S Club 7
Mambo No5 - Lou Vega
is one of them...
