Hi all, After a recent gig im looking at expanding and getting some subs for the kit i have..
Now i currently used 1 amp to power the funky monkeys (300watt) and am looking for a pari of subs to add to those?
any ideas?
Any advice would be greatlyfully received.
IS it worth going all active?

If you want a pair of good quality, budget priced subs, I have a pair of brand new and boxed W-Audio L400B
cabinets for sale that I bought as spares and have never used. SRP is £329. I'm looking for £197 plus carriage.
They're rated at 400 watts RMS at 8 ohms. You'll find details on the Prolight site.

With the current system you have I would personly recomend that you invest in a single more powerfull and better made sub rather than two small budget subs..
a single sub like a FBT Maxx 10SA will be easy to transport and also will compliment any upgrades you make to your top speakers..
if you go for a pair of budget subs then you will end up having to change all 4 speakers at some point when you need to upgrade...

Have a look at thomanns website, thay do a deal on DB technologies active subs plus they offer a standard 3 year warranty. I think the DB's offer an alternative to mackies, which I think are abit heavy for mobile use.
