Small problem for this week though... have just realised that I have several social gatherings this week which leaves it nye on impossible to start dieting this week... so Monday 6th October is D-Day... my ajudicator will be my husband... and I will start a diet diary to keep you all informed!

I'm in as well.
The best way to lose weight involves LOT'S of physical activity. So just put your hubbie on a red bull drip for a few weeks and feed him nothing but oysters
...well it's the most fun way to lose weight anyway

Count me in Karen, although you don't need to lose the 28lbs!!
I had to diet when i was playing alot of rugby and while on trails for kent.
I had to go to the gym every night and eat rabbit food

. It takes alot of will power to stay off of fatty food or the stuff you like.........chocolate

Especially when you've had a bad day!
Go out on long bike rides, I used to go out on a 6 mile ride every night, now i do about 15 miles to get to work some times
Good luck

.... well all I can tell you is that I negotiated the wandsworth one way system to find the place I had never been before - by reading a map!! And I have to read maps to find venues where I have never worked before... and given the fact that I dont use a roadie.. unlike some mamby pamby boys, I think I do ok!
