My records all sound warped, some are but some sounded fine in the store but when I got it home it sounded warped,
I don't know what the problem is.
Turntables are new, cartridges and stylus' are new but only $60 for the pair.
ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Hmmm, if your records are warped then this is why they maybe sound "Warped"?. Sounds obvious but if you play a new record which isn't warped and it sounds okay then the fault isn't with the turntable, but with your "Warped" records.

No manufacturer will guarantee their turntables to play warped or damaged records, any more than a styli manufacturer will say that their styli's will play scratched records and never jump!, its a tricky situation. If you take your turntables back to the store for a refund on the basis that it won't play warped records then you may not get a refund, since technically there is nothing wrong with the turntable.

I really can't comment on why the same turntables played them in the shop - were they using the same styli as you, or some high quality $300 ones smile.gif - usually one of the dealers tricks is to put expensive, heavy duty and professional styli into even the cheap turntables in order to make them sound far better on Demo in the shop than they actually are! (Most people generally use basic Stanton or Ortophon Styli in everyday use).

If you try a known good or brand new vinyl and it plays warped then the problem is with the turntable and the best advice is to take it back for replacement, however if they play okay, then you'll need to upgrade your styli or turntables if the majority of your vinyl is warped.

PROBLEM SOLVED!!!! Sorry for the bother, after 3 months of using them, I went to look underneath the platter see if anything was obviously wrong. I didn't even get there when I saw the voltage was set for 220 instead of 120. So I switched it and they work fine now.
