Had the pleasure recently of playing this all time classic from 1981, in my extended 80's set. Probably because I do more 40th birthday parties or because I'm also heading quickly in that direction!

Either way does anyone else give this classic a spin?

Only at home - got the 12" version. Loved the bloody song!

OK, name the film it featured in...and no cheating!

Shame the rerecorded version for the film wasn't a patch on the original (the band have since disowned everything from their "American Period") The original isn't even their best song, try "Love my way" or "President Gas" from "Forever Now" or "Heaven", "Heartbeat", or "The Ghost in you" from "Mirror Moves"

Those of you that like more "leftfield" stuff could try their first 2 albums "India" off their self titled debut is one of my faves along with "Into you like a train" from "Talk Talk Talk" (the album that the original version of PIP is form)

None of the above are particularly good for mobile work unless it's for 40ths of people like me IPB Image IPB Image IPB Image

Mmm, I don't remember pretty in pink being in the brekkie club, "don't you forgot about me" was the biggie from that one, then Molly Ringwald (the ginger one) went on to do the movie pretty in pink. However I do stand to be corrected

It WAS 'Pretty in Pink', but the problem is probably that Molly Ringwald only ever made 1 film as a teenager. They just kept renaming it!!!!!!!!

Don't misunderstand me, I watched (and enjoyed) them as much as anyone!!
