Try another slowish one but slightly more uptempo such as Ronan keating and Lulu , weve got tonight ?, and then onto a floor filler "kylie" ?? biggrin.gif

I did a party a few weeks ago like this and they asked for titanic (celine dion-my heart will go on) for their first dance.

I followed celines track with beyonce-dangerously in love (album-track 12)

and got 3 people come up and ask me what it was!

Hope this helps biggrin.gif

I normally would go down the 'Style Council - You're the Best Thing' followed by a floorfiller type route.

look at the crowd.... if you have lots of oldies try an older track.. I sometimes play one from each decade from the 50s upwards... it pleases everyone! (mind you have to say, I dont usually like to play more than 2/3 slowies max)

I have a mix of I Will Always Love You by Whitney, starts slowly and moves into a dance version in which everybody stays on the floor to, a bit cheesy but it works...
I think it is also on the album of her greatest hits.
