As per topic and why?

Depends on the function:

But, some options include:

*) The Latest Now Album

*) The Latest Mastermix Promo CD

*) A purchase of a new(ish) "Best of the 80's" compilation CD box set, so that I can get rid of more of my vinyl, by replacing it with CD versions, rather than "ripping" the vinyl at good ol' "realtime 1x" speed.

However, if you're looking for a singular answer, with a specific CD title, then "Best Pub Jukebox Album in the world ever".

Why? Well, its got plenty of the commonly requested tracks, and more to the point perhaps, a lot of the tracks that people DONT request, but they say "Oh YES! I love this track...I haven't heard this for ages...etc"
C.S
Michael Jackson - greatest hits, because it has lots of tracks that fill a dancefloor

I must thank RobbieD for introducing me to the Ben Leibrand Grand 12" compilations. Personally, the music in them reflects my influences. These are the best compilations I have seen, and often get used on my shows.

Close by is History of house which is a CD released by Channel 4, this contains some seminal house tracks I love.

I also love Led Zeppelin Remasters compilation - sheer quality rock.

And this little D&B gem is full of good stuff!

From a business point of view, the Now series is probably the best in my collection!

how hard is this, normally it one of the last CD's that I've bought which are

Browns Bag - Soul Satisfied

and the Soul togetherness CD's are always worth a listen
Soul Togtherness 2006

YourBigEvent
Only usually play three tracks from the above CD.

It's a virtually impossible question to answer but I'll answer from a personal, rather than a mobile DJ point of view..

My most recent buys are my current favourites.

They are "Worth The Wait" - Omar Cunningham, "Love Stories" - Frank McComb and "Mama's Got A Bag Of Her Own" - 25 reissued classic soul cuts from Stateside.

I'm awaiting 2 reissues by the Soul Searchers - "We The People" and "Salt of The Earth" which I know will get a lot of plays.
Corabar Steve
I don't think there is a hard & fast rule, they change week to week, month to month.

At the moment:

Business - Now 64 / 65

Pleasure - Nuggets box set
schmeegan
soul togetherness 2006 - some quality choons on there.... don't get a chance to play many of them at the functions i do though.....

most played - dj in a box - cheese fest from mastermix - gets on my nerves but there is something for everyone on there... apart from me!
Steve_Mitchell
Proberbly as per Jimbo. I can do a good party set for about an hour with only 2 cd`s.
The Ogrady Roadshow
