What kind of music it? Is it worth telling us the track list? Any links to cover-art on another CD site?

Personally I think it's a bit tepid. Might include one song in an "easy listening" background music set, but I think it would bore people to death if you played a whole album of it.

Hijacking the thread slightly.

If I have been given no direction as to what the client would like me to play for background music, I like to play a selection of easy listening songs from the 50s through to more modern tracks but keeping the songs within the softer more melodic type. I also like to play no more than two tracks from the same artist during this period, but never one after the other and like to play them in groups of 3 of a similar type, say, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and maybe Tony Bennett or Bing, then onto maybe The Carpenters, Celine Dion and possible Crystal Gayle, I like to keep varying the style, decade and mood of the songs so hopefully playing something during this period that will appeal to everyone.

I know some DJs just put a CD on for background music of an individual artist i.e "Tony Bennett's greatest hits" and let it play through, but I do not like this idea as if the artist is disliked by any guests, or not well known amongst the guests (due to different ages) it can set the tone of the evening off on the wrong foot.

What do you all do, and why?
