I have a scanner radio mic. A couple of times recently I've gone to use it and the battery's been flat. It thought that I may have left it switched on but on Saturday night it seemed to just switch itself on. I took the battery out and left it for a few minutes and it then worked ok for about half an hour and then switched itself back on again. Any ideas???

Nothing obvious springs to mind, unless you have a ghost! biggrin.gif

Since Radio Mics are tricky to work on, and use circuitry which is usually finely tuned it's better to leave well alone, and either send it back for repair or replace it.

Of course if you needed to continue to use it you could take out the battery at the end of every gig?

Are you using alkaline batteries? These are best for radio mics!

Dont forget that on scanner mics, the red LED comes ON when the battery's flat, and goes OFF if the battery's OK!!

But I guess you know that anyhow!
