I paid cash for a Spacewriter iBall and got it for £350 cash and it's now about double that. At every gig I do I get loads of punters commenting on it, and usually at least 30% of the dancefloor are transfixed by it and just stare at it as there feet shuffle around biggrin.gif
It's handy at weddings as well, as i use it to display messages such as "Sheila & Dave would like to thank the best man Ian" and "Don't forget to buy the dj a drink" rolleyes.gif
Gary
SSShhhhhh !!!!!

By the way, if you'd like to cause a little innocent ( dry.gif ) havoc on the Pioneer stand.... heres how.

When you've finished playing with some of their old flat-bed/desktop scratchy CD-decks, with those limp, idle platters on their tops... hold down the LOOP OUT button for about 6 seconds, until some weird characters appear on the display. This simply puts the unit into a mode where the current version of bugs, oops.gif sorry, "Software" is shown on the display.

This mode prevents the unit from being used, but can simply be cleared/reset by the machine being turned off...and on again.

But the punter who tries to use it after you wont know that.... biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Chris? how do you do that innocent "walk away whistling" trick again.....pheeeweee weee eewww.... 533.gif
martink

or

"In Earls Court..........nobody can hear you scream........."

or

"I want my mummy!"

And how exactly does one cause havoc on the denon stand ? Sounds like someones trying to stir up some hooliganism on the pioneers, wonder why? And why should one be afraid of Kazz and Paula?if you cover them in baby oil they are just as slippery as the rest of us! biggrin.gif
kazzachi
ah djcs...baby oil.... I will be wearing a smattering of that on the day!
Eskie
Chris, no mate, not baby oil; yoghurts the stuff rolleyes.gif

....do you do yoghurt?
071.gif
C.S
Yes Eskie The YOGHURT!!!!!!!! the blueberry luxury yoghurt!!! i saw her at the club last nite!!!!!!! and you remember who i was entertaining at the time,i gave her a llift home last week and i looked in the mirror and she had stripped! in the back seat for christs sake! Things are not improving! I have a wedding booking here for you eskie, runar wants a soul dj for his wedding, just soul and funk and he wants you to do it. The rest of you guys must really be wondering about the yoghurt! Well esk and i once met a young lady who liked yoghurt and she had a friend who liked raspberry jam and one night we..................................................... rolleyes.gif
Eskie
...it actually went back further than that!
A couple of years or so before that incident, I'd been on holiday with some mates. There was a girl staying in a room almost above us who one of my mates had his eye one. She seemed pretty kinky, and certainly wasn't the shy, sweet & retiring sort of girl!.
My mate (Tom) went up to her room one day and asked if he could use her shower, cos the water had packed up in ours!! She said that he could, and he went in. Now, the problem with Tom was that he wasn't the most forward of blokes, plus sometimes not the quickest either rolleyes.gif
After he'd finished his shower he noticed that she had about 9 or 10 yoghurt pots next to her bed. She explained that she "really liked yoghurt!" and asked Tom "Do you do yoghurt?" Tom didn't know what she was talking about and didn't think anything of this and simply said that he wasn't that keen on yoghurts and then came back down to our room.
A couple of days later we found out from another bloke that she in fact used to get blokes to eat the yoghurts with her... or should that be from her 188.gif

When we heard this we slaughtered Tom and everyone was taking the p censored.gif s out of him. The new expression then became "Do you do Yoghurt?" which we would say to everyone and anyone!
I developed rather a fondness for yoghurts after this 221.gif and then in Norway a couple of years later I often used the expression which mostly totally confused the locals; until the episode above... rolleyes.gif

better go, gonna be late...
C.S
Now Eskie i feel you could give a few more details to the guys, i will explain the raspberry jam if you do the yoghurt laugh.gif
paula
Hmmmmnnnn!
I can guess whats gonna come next! Tell the tale Eskie! fear.gif

eh?! you must be joking! There are kids on here.
No matter how subtle I could try to be, there is no getting round the fact that the story is far from a PG rating, and I have no intentions of warping the innocent young minds that may be lurking on here biggrin.gif
BTW Chris, I think you're forgetting that the yoghurt in Bodo didn't start for me with Trude, it was actually with Marrianna wotsername on my first trip there, when I was in the Seahouse!
I think the yoghurt thread has now reached it's end, as there's nothing more that can be said.
C.S
I remember very well esk! and i agree it has come to the end which leads us nicely over to the ice cream!
