proburaly, my bnc light has a 12v 5w bulb, and is the same as the carsidelight bulb, just make sure u get the right bulb as there are a few different fittings

Have you considered side-stepping ordinary "blow-at-a-inconvenient-moment-every-8-months-and-fragile-during-transit" filament bulbs and just go for one of the ~£20 LED Gooseneck BNC solutions?
