I've been using a pair of these DMX colour blaster for a couple of years and find them to be very tough, reliable, effective and easy to use. They have a lens to focus for a narrow spot, although as most of my work is in small venues, removing the lens makes for a much wider beam. They work as a master slave arrangement via a dmx lead. They run a factory pre-set sequence of colours, strobing and dimming. A useful feature is they can be easily switched via dip switches at the front to show just continuous white, ideal to illuminate the band that never bring any of there own lights! Or on to a mirror ball.

Running directly from a switch panel bulb life has been reduced as I had no way of switching them off via DMX, therefore the cooling fans stop. Bulbs are not expensive and very easy to change.

I've just bought a controller from Chris which i'm slowly understanding how to program for my own show!

The only drawback is they are heavy.
